First, to stimulate thinking, encourage feedback and stir up dialogue and debate that can serve as a catalyst for real and meaningful change in human affairs… changes that take into account the Global Village that has been created by information and communications technology.
Second, to invite any person who may read it to do something very different from the common place… to join a network of people around the world and personally and directly participate in the process of creating a just society, not necessarily the just society.
Thirdly, to propose two immediate projects for your participation, namely, “Grandparents” and “Conferences” which are more specifically described in the sections below.
Lastly, with your indulgence, a place to publish some of my thoughts and ideas developed over a lifetime of thinking about just societies without having to run the gauntlet of book publishers, editors, distributors, etc… thus sparing myself the unenviable and unpleasant task of trying to justify and rationalize, financially, something that has nothing to do with profits
Yes, first we will talk the talk. Then together, we will walk our talk. If we don’t walk our talk, then our talk has no meaning beyond “vanity… and chasing after wind.”
Which means that this site - its processes and its contents - must always remain a "work in progress"… at least, until the day "they shall beat their swords into ploughshares."
